Welcome to Renew at CPI
Welcome to the Renew Tees Valley Website. It is our aim to promote the Tees Valley as a UK centre for renewable energy and waste management technologies, leading to new economic activity.
This comes from helping to make renewable energy and recycling projects happen in Tees Valley, assisting in supply chain development through helping existing local businesses to develop/diversify into new markets in renewable energy and recycling and helping to attract inward investment.

Renew Tees Valley ceased trading on 30 June 2008 as a sub regionally funded project. A new bigger and better regional project is to carry on RTV's work, located at the Wilton Centre - called Renew at CPI - under the wing of the Regional Centre of Excellence - The Centre for Process Innovation Ltd. Focusing on the Low Carbon agenda and waste strategies across the whole of the North East, much of the work carried out by RTV will continue under the care of Renew at CPI. Further details will follow and there will be relaunch details soon. Peter Ellis is continuing as Acting CEO until a new Project Director is in post, Chris Hayward has successfully applied to be the Environmental Industries Manager, Janine Smith has accepted the role of Project Administrator and recruitment is underway for an Energy Manager and for four technical specialists - two each for Energy and Environmental Industries.
